Hero's in a Half Shell
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are definitely hero's in a half shell, but do most of us really consider them super heroes? I remember running to the TV set as a kid every Saturday morning to watch these knarly dudes! I'm a huge Turtle fan, I absolute love these guys! In fact the original turtle movie was the first time I ever went to the theatre myself, well I took my kid brother too. I remember sitting in the very first row, waiting in anticipation as the previews were running. Needless to say the movie didn't disappoint and we were even that much more hooked on our green machine team, your welcome Joe!
The main question is are they super heroes? I'm not sure what everyone thinks but isn't this is a great forum to talk about it? TMNT and Super Hero Junky!? My personal opinion is that Yes, They are definitely Super Hero's! Think we should talk about it? Yeah Totally Dudes, let's get it!
Super Powers?
Ummm well, nah they got Turtle Power! Super Powers? Obviously! Did you ever watch the cartoons or see the movies? If you did you would know these totally tubular mutants have unbelievable size, strength and speed. To top it all off they learned ninjitsu and the art of using weapons! The old school movies that I grew up watching they were kind of like human size turtle ninjas with mad skills, however the new age CGI ninja turtles are completely jacked! Raphael is like the Incredible Hulk with a Hard Shell and Ninja Sai. These dudes leap from the tops of New York Skyscrapers, do 780 flips and land directly into sewer caps within the blink of an eye. They don't need to dodge bullets because they are bullet proof! They can vanish in an instant, bust through buildings and carry tons (literally tons) of weight on their backs. Sounds pretty super to me!
Mad Skills
They have studied the art of Ninjitsu and have mastered it faster than any human could ever have imagined possible. Michaelangelo parties like a rockstar and can crush more pizza in a minute than Takeru Kobayashi can crush hot dogs (and even pizza). Donatello has intellect comparable to Tony Stark! Leonardo's leadership skills are on par with Julius Caeser, Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi. And, Rapahel is just the rudest biggest baddest trash talking turtle of them all. Oh Yah BTW, they all can pretty much rip a half pipe to shreds on a skateboard. Turtle Power!
The Draw
The four reptilian brothers are entertaining to say the least! The Foot Clan, Super Samurais, ginormous mutants and inter-dimensional bubblicious faced brainiac bad guys in futuristic robot suits can't beat them. They knock down the baddies again and again all while keeping us hilariously entertained. They dance and rap, skateboard and defend their city from the shadows. Hold the anchovies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leo, Donny, Mikey and Raph are definitely Super Heroes, no if's and's or but's about it! T.U.R.T.L.E POWER!!!
Kobayashi Who?
